CAPRI SUN DROPPED FREEZER POPS, BUT FANS ARE NOT HAPPY: 'I MAY CRY FOREVER'

If your childhood was anything like mine, you grew up drinking Capri Suns. One fun hack is to stick the straw through a pouch, then toss it in the freezer and sip a frozen version of the drink a few hours later. Now, the company has taken note and made frozen Capri Suns official.

Yesterday, the brand launched Capri Sun Straw Pops, which went on sale exclusively at Walmart.com for just $5. The new pop molds can be filled with a multi-serve bottle before you freeze, squeeze, and enjoy. But many fans were left disappointed when the straw pops sold out within minutes.

“OMG HOW ARE THEY SOLD OUT SO FAST I MAY CRY FOREVER 😭,” one fan wrote on the company’s Instagram announcement.

“Ugh! Sold out Already. 😩,” another wrote. “You guys are terrible with having stuff like this sell out. Happened last year too. First it doesn’t come out at its original time, and then you let hackers buy them all,” another disappointed fan chimed in.

Still, many consumers were excited about the drop. “I NEED❤️ 😂IM A CAPRISUN GIRLYYYY,” one fan stated.

“Ahhhh!!! Need and want these!!! 😍😍😍😍😍,” another wrote.

While the initial drop sold out immediately, it seems fans who missed out may have another chance to snag the coveted straw pops. In a reply to a comment on Instagram questioning whether there would be a restock, Capri Sun wrote, “Yep! Stay tuned tomorrow!” The brand even changed the description of the initial Instagram post to clarify, “Another drop coming tomorrow. Stay tuned!”

In the meantime, you can continue to DIY the Capri Sun Straw Pops and throw a few pouches in the freezer.
